The Beach House

A young lovestruck couple arrives at a secluded house on one of the beaches on the east coast of the USA with a promise of a nice get-away off the grid, and they are looking forward to spending some time alone together. However, they soon find an elderly couple already there in the house, who are also planning to stay - but this is the least of their problems - as there is a far more terrifying threat awaiting them all which is coming out of the sea. I do not want to give out any spoilers here, regarding what is at the heart of this movie, I shall leave each one of you to find out what lies behind the mounting suspense, which really carefully builds in this horror movie. It moves along at its own tempo, and maybe I did not really enjoy the ending, which somewhat fizzles out a bit, but otherwise I feel that this slow-paced movie was pretty good.
