Comic book creator Todd Walkley and his wife (assistant and best friend) are heading to NYC comic con when bad things start to happen - people start getting killed. It soon becomes clear that a crazed fan is using his 'Slasherman' comic as inspiration for the killings. As the bodies pile up and Todd's friends become victims themselves, Todd is forced to face the killer and put an end to his notorious comic once and for all. (Acorn Media UK)

English A decent slasher where the killer takes inspiration from the horror comic “Slasherman” and turns his victims into grotesque statues. Visually it's competent, the gore is very good and the scene where the killer attacks a car with a knife is one of the most intense I've seen this year. Unfortunately, the characters aren't very interesting, the suspense is almost missing and apart from the murders, a fine idea and a mysterious killer, there's nothing else to praise here, but as a one-off I think the film holds up. Story**, Action>No, Humor>No, Violence****, Entertainment***, Music***, Visual***, Atmosphere***, Suspense**. 6/10. ()
