The HBO comedy, which is based on Tom Perrotta's bestselling novel of the same name, stars Kathryn Hahn as Eve Fletcher, a single, divorced mother who finds herself in the throes of loneliness when her son leaves home for college. While struggling to adjust to her new life as an empty nester, Eve slips down a rabbit hole of internet porn but soon embarks on a journey of self-discovery, as she now has the freedom to live out her repressed sexual fantasies. Meanwhile, Eve's son, Brendan (Jackson White), is having his own set of challenges at college. Brendan was the coolest kid in his high school. I bet that I would enjoy the book escapades of "Mrs. Fletcher". I've only encountered this lovely little series on HBO so far, and I've looked forward to every episode. It’s sweet, open, funny, and incredibly sexy. And most importantly, it's also true (yes, life isn't just about sex). It has a fantastic mix of themes, and interesting characters (yes, the tranny is totally normal) and Kathryn Hahn is simply great.
