Plots(1)
This really happened. In 2013, an arthouse cinema in Bucharest screened Lisa Cholodenko’s film The Kids Are All Right in which Annette Bening and Julianne Moore play a couple who are bringing up two teenagers. The screening was interrupted by representatives of a far-right movement who started protesting against the film's message. The press accused the police for not intervening to end the conflict. The film focuses on the point of view of Nicu Holban, the leader of the team sent by the local gendarmerie to make sure the disturbance didn’t escalate. (Warsaw Film Festival)
