English An adventure story, loosely inspired by Eduard Storch's novel. Schmidt's direction is rather uninteresting and you can''t help feeling that the filmmakers could, given the cruelty and savagery of the time in which the film is set, have at least pushed a little bit for the rawness and visual impact of the set and the overall concept. Sadly, this was neither possible nor intended, because this trilogy of films was aimed at the youngest audience from the beginning. But at least the attempt to bring us a little closer to that era is appreciated, specially since it was made at a time when only normalisation shit and films full of cheerful pioneers were being made. And it should also be noted how many films set in the Stone Age were made in our country? You could count them with the fingers of one hand of a guy who worked on a sawmill for 40 years....As a little boy I loved this film, even today I like to watch it and I'll throw in a * for nostalgia.
