They used to run the country, now they're running for their lives! Two former Presidents are framed in a scandal by the current President (Dan Aykroyd) and are pursued by armed agents. The two squabbling political foes plunge into a desperate and delightfully frantic search for the evidence that will establish their innocence. This movie will probably be most appreciated by the Americans, because the characters include two former American presidents, and most of its humor is based on what liberties they take with people and what liberties people take with them in turn. But as we have a swine sitting on our throne, nothing really surprised me so I tried to focus on the latter type of humor, which coincidentally prevailed, so I was quite entertained for the almost two-hour running time.
