English I liked the older trips to Alaska much more, even though they were in black and white. This piece is not badly cast, but it has a weaker script. However, it reliably deserves three stars. Overall impression: 55%. Today, an ideal movie for ten-year-old boys. ()

English Awesome for a Czech movie. Sirový generally does a good job, but the movie lacks pace. Perhaps he is held back a little by the books it’s based on. The beauty of the Altai, simulating Alaska extremely well, does a lot to redeem the movie, as do the acting performances. Schmitzer is the powerhouse of this and Strach looked less strange when he was young, than in his adulthood. ()
