Michael, a young artist who lives with his neurotic mother and two-timing father, escapes the absurd and often ugly side of life on New York's tough streets by satirizing its rich yet wacky characters in wildly entertaining cartoons. An excellent example that animated films are simply not only for children, they just need to be in the hands of a capable creator. What I like about this film is that it is also experimental and can play with form, but not at the expense of the plot. An animated film for adults that is vulgar, erotic, violent, and moreover has something to say. That is not seen so often.
