In this poetic documentary, Bolek Polívka, Eva Holubová, Petr Čtvrtníček, and others stars of Tomáš Vorel's feature film Out of the City - take their own real life journeys to the village and countryside. It describes their attempts to live away from town, and it follows their return. Although Bolek Polívka loves his farm, he is incapable of living outside the city limits. Eva Holubová wanted her children to grow up in harmony with nature, but the sacrifice was too great and she returned. Petr Čtvrtníček floats contentedly along on his houseboat, but when he disembarks he heads back to town. In the end, it seems that the city has won the prime spot in our hearts. English Document about five people who live in the countryside, or at least retreat there for some time during the year. They do it out of their own conviction, they do it because they have discovered something. Maybe it's God, maybe it's the meaning of life, maybe it's neither. I have to say that in a certain sense I resonate with them, but I'm probably the one who will never take that step out of the city. Well, alright, I live in a village now, but the city is right behind me. I like how the document is honest and what statement it makes, which definitely doesn't make it a holy grail of this film, but certainly an interesting statement, a slightly different perspective on the world that we sometimes need.
