The rural community of Paddock County is being rocked by the crazed exploits of an axe-wielding psychopath, who stalks the night in a black trenchcoat and mask. Edge of the Axe is a 1989 English language Spanish slasher classic made in Spain, which kind of resembles California, and it works. Of course, it is not groundbreaking or original and has well-worn slasher tropes, although it is still as entertaining as you would have expected from an 80s slasher, which is alright.
