The follow up film to the world-wide hit Emmanuelle, this French masterpiece of eroticism follows Emmanuelle on her return trip to her husband in Hong Kong where she proceeds to have several extra marital affairs, all to his knowledge. This is simply weak. There are hints here and there that there could be truly interesting, sexy scenes, perhaps the most interesting one being with acupuncture, because that's something you don't expect, but otherwise, it's weak and actually not sensual or sexy at all. Sylvia Kristel is a beautiful woman, she was, in her own way, but her Emmanuelle is simply boring.
