An elevator mechanic is called in to examine the elevator and is faced with an uncooperative supplier and a reporter who suspects a conspiracy. The film was shot within thirty days and with a small budget. Dick Maas' feature film debut was granted the 1983 Golden Calf Award for Best Direction.
