Sirius

Teenage František lives in a village and hasn't been much affected by the Nazi occupation, which bears heavily on his parents. He experiences moments of complete understanding with his Alsatian Sirius. But violence bursts even into František's life – even through dogs, which he considers friends and helpers. The Gestapo uses trained dogs to catch his fugitive father. When Sirius becomes the property of the killers, František attempts a futile battle for the dog's life... (Zlín Film Festival)
