In this adventure-packed drama, a Japanese colonel accused of war crimes committed in World War II hijacks a military transport plane and crashes it into the sea. As the surviving passengers--including two pilots, a nurse, and a couple who were married on the day they were liberated from a Japanese prison camp--attempt to somehow find rescue, they must overcome numerous obstacles.
