Mária is a university student in Budapest living with her mother and grandmother. What she knows of her father is that he died in the Iranian-Iraqi war. A letter from Persia found accidentally makes her realise that her father is not dead and that her mother has been lying to her for years. The half-Persian young woman starts looking for her roots and herself. But nobody helps her as nobody understands why this is so important. Her failures and a family tragedy break her down. Now everybody who can helps her. (official distributor synopsis)
