Just released from a Hong Kong prison, Fai returns to his friends and living on the streets. However, following a surprise early-morning clean-up action by the police, they lose their sleeping place. With the help of a social worker, the homeless take the authorities to court. They hope for monetary compensation, but what the deeply humiliated Fai really wants is a public apology. Director Jun Li casts a bold eye on Hong Kong's social problems, and uses striking images to pay tribute to a group marginalised by society. (Zurich Film Festival)
