Game of Thrones - Kissed by Fire (2013) (episode)

English One of the few episodes where the beginning follows exactly the end of the previous one, delivering the most dramatic scene of the entire episode, the duel between the Hound and Beric. There’s little of the North, where, ironically, the ice melts in one of the main scenes. Everything around the Starks is tangled and unclear, while the unceasing intrigues and turmoil in the capital are perfectly clear. Lady Olenna’s entrance is brilliant.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword (2017)

English The new King Arthur may have some charisma and flair, but he has absolutely no style or refinement. You'll want to talk about this story with your mates in some seedy "pub" on the outskirts of London, that's about as much character as this film gets. A muddle of rock hits, confusing editing, dull PG13 CGI action scenes and a boring 130 minutes. Ritchie may be his own man again, with a distinctive and very bold style, but this legend doesn't need to be made any other way.

Game of Thrones - And Now His Watch is Ended (2013) (episode)

English In reverse and one of the best episodes so far. Lots of intrigue and string-pulling in Kings Landing, with more and more characters getting involved, and above all, finally, less filler in the North, with one key scene pushing the whole Northern passage a mile forward, and unrivalled scenes of Daenerys and dragons. Truly epic.

Game of Thrones - Walk of Punishment (2013) (episode)

English Again, a bit of a road trip episode, but still, some of the plot premises are already crystallizing and the third season is moving forward. Unfortunately there are few scenes from the capital, where things are fun, with lots of interesting characters, and a lot of nothing much to say wandering through the woods, but thumbs up for the shocking finale. After the the Starks from the first episode, the biggest surprise so far.

Game of Thrones - Dark Wings, Dark Words (2013) (episode)

English Basically, no significant progress and one of the most boring and sterile episodes. The constant wandering gives the viewer the feeling that everyone is just always travelling somewhere. Decent scenes from Kings Landing as usual and a good final fight.

Game of Thrones - Valar Dohaeris (2013) (episode)

English The first episode of season 3 is too lukewarm, it opens up almost no new stories and there are hardly new characters. We have a solid base for the next episodes, hopefully they will be more dramatic than this one, some slight hints are there.

Gold (2016)

English A traditionally well-prepared McConaughey, giving his usual 100 percent to his role. Otherwise, however, this is a rather uninteresting film inspired by a true story, which follows in the footsteps of American Hustle in its retro style, but lacking vivacity and passion. Other than a couple of emotionally accomplished situations, it’s a real borefest.

Game of Thrones - Season 2 (2012) (season)

English More fleshed out than the first season, with a handful of new characters. It has its pros and cons. The first season had more pace and was more dynamic. The second season, especially in the middle episodes, has a lot of dialogue filler and the pieces on the chessboard move very sporadically, if at all. Nevertheless, the new nations are fine, they will certainly speak in an important way to the events in future episodes. And finally, at the end of the season, we get to see a proper battle, which we have been waiting for since the beginning of the saga.

Game of Thrones - Valar Morghulis (2012) (episode)

English Basically, just a teaser for the next season. Things move as expected, without anything important taking place. Except perhaps for the last shots, which lack originality and inventiveness, but why not, If done well they could be interesting in season 3.

Game of Thrones - Blackwater (2012) (episode)

English The best episode of the series so far, hands down. The gripping battle of Kings Landing is not as pompous and clear as the battle scenes in famous films like Gladiator or the Lord of The Rings trilogy. But it does not lack drive, an excellent wartime atmosphere and many unexpected twists and turns in the course of the action.
