Billions - With or Without You (2017) (episode)
Axe confessing his inner feelings and troubles, problems in his marriage and revealing his true nature. Only Taylor can soften that in an interrogation. Good stuff before the finale.
Billions - Sic Transit Imperium (2017) (episode)
If Wags hadn't killed it with his fantastic speech at the party, from which the protagonist actually totally disappeared, this would have been a literally wasted episode.
Billions - The Kingmaker (2017) (episode)
Jack Foley vs Bobby Axelrod – clash of titans.
Billions - Victory Lap (2017) (episode)
Sandicot and everything around it. It could have been a lot faster, but then we wouldn’t have 12 episodes and a world of trouble. Even so, it will very likely lead to a death spiral of desperate maneuvers.
Billions - Indian Four (2017) (episode)
Excellent procedural. A wild speculative deal that doesn't quite work out as it should and, above all, an excellent courtroom performance.
Billions - Currency (2017) (episode)
The middle part of the second season is not entirely boring, but there are no great moments or twists, either. When both protagonists run out of ammunition, the story turns to a big business called Nigeria. Why not, it had an interesting twist in the end. But it will be far more interesting to watch the slow development of the marital problems of the other power couple – the Axelrods.
Billions - The Oath (2017) (episode)
The reference to Blade Runner is the most memorable scene of the entire episode. Otherwise, it's a classic middle episode of a big puzzle that only slightly shapes the characters and sets everything up for a well-founded finish.
Billions - Optimal Play (2017) (episode)
Pokor never disappoints, so there are plenty of exciting situations. Although it all seems too starched and "serial", it's still quite fun, as long as you don't take it too seriously.
Billions - Dead Cat Bounce (2017) (episode)
The intrigues and schemes against AG and the new characters of a masculine woman and a psychologist are controversial to say the least, and spice up a somewhat monotonous office battle full of intrigue and subplots.
Extraction (2020)
A bit of John Wick, a bit of The Raid, and an awfully ordinary plot. It’s still good stuff, though. Hemsworth handles the action decently and isn't afraid of the more daring stunts, which is commendable. Extraction does wink at Evans from behind the scenes, but it can be considered another in a long line of flashy action flicks. Especially the car chase scene in one take, or running around a house – these are first class stunts. I was tempted to believe that it was an unrecognizably made-up Rose Byrne in a cool Indian look, but it wasn't.
