Roberto Minervini

Director, writer and musical producer. His most recent films, which revolve around life in rural America and of marginal populations, have been greatly aclaimed for his "desmantling certainty." Minervini's films stand out for his use of "documentary contemplation" and dramatic-like elements, going so far as, sometimes, mixing both of these elements. Before producing feature films, he made a series of short films, including Voodo Doll, Come to Daddy, Note and The Fireflies. Minervini was part of the jury in the section "Horizons" in the 2014 edition of the Venince Film Festival.
