Haunting (S01E07)

The finale went exactly as I expected, except for the funny aside with Karen, which made me give it three stars. The closure of the storyline with Stifler's mom amused me. At least I could smirk for a while, as the creators didn't create any tension throughout the season. They occasionally tried to create some moments that were supposed to make sensitive viewers' hearts race and perhaps even make them clutch their stuffed toy for protection, but I found the whole family annoying, so it seemed like a pathetic effort to me. Nothing changed for me, even in the final episode, because the creators didn't prepare any farewell surprises. / Lesson learned: Some victories are pyrrhic. (03/01/2023)
