English In my view, the British production Xtro is above all primarily a great special effects spectacle that has lost nothing even after almost forty years. The makeup is great, the monsters are really nasty, and the overall cinematography works very well. The story is bizarre, and sometimes, it has very strange images, almost to the point of being abstract. However, it gives the movie an atmosphere of something alien, hard to understand, which is also related to the characters' actions. ()
