My favorite stand-up comedian, known for her humor about childhood and later years' traumas, made a comeback with a new special, and I'll be honest — it got on my nerves a bit, which is why I held back a star in my rating. Her constant patting herself on the back and Netflix plugs felt a bit much. I mean, we get it, right? Despite that, it was still a stellar special, exactly what I'd hoped for from Taylor Tomlinson. The hour flew by, I found myself laughing throughout, and there was a twinge of sadness when the final credits rolled. / Lesson learned: When someone can poke fun at themselves, it's an instant likability booster.
