Well, it seems that even the creators themselves realized how weak the characters of the second season are, so they reached for familiar characters from the previous season for the second time. However, I'm not sure if it will help them with anything, especially when they try to save the very poor plot by using inquisitional methods every now and then. It doesn't really work for me.
