When Willy Vanderbrook applies for a job in a Parisian luxury hotel but is rejected because of his Belgian origins, he teams up with a disillusioned waiter and an unhinged Walloon separatist to exact revenge on the elitist hotel management. Recently paroled, sexy young con artist Céline is on the lookout for her next job. She thinks she's found her victim in a Belgian Crown prince and his entourage, partying for free at a 5-star hotel in Paris. But Willy is just a guy, who got turned down for a job in this hotel... because he's Belgian and French simply don't take the Belgians seriously! So he and his two friends are getting their revenge. Seeing her chance, Céline threatens to unmask their imposture if they don't help her steal a priceless jewel, during an A-list event at the hotel. To get past security, Willy and Céline will pose as a Belgian prince and princess, while Serge and his obsessive paramilitary buddy, Franck, pretend to be their bodyguards. When a European country makes fun of itself and all their neighbors or celebrates themselves and take jabs at their neighbors, I’m okay with that. That’s why I don’t have a problem with this movie, since it’s about Belgians and they’re not our neighbor, therefore I didn’t really expect any jabs at us. But this comedy was along the lines of some of our trashiest comedies like Kameňák or Babovřesky.
