The first season of V-Wars reveals its strengths and weaknesses. The strengths are that it has an interesting subject matter, has pretty good characters, is moving, and has good practical effects. The drawbacks are that it is not original, the plot development is quite boring, and special effects are sometimes awful because they are CGI.
