In the mountains of Monterrey, Mexico, the young members of a street gang, the self-proclaimed “Los Terkos,” spend their days listening to slowed-down cumbia and attending dance parties. About life in Mexico and how important music is in the life of each of us, and that it can also heal the soul in an environment that is bit too rough, which the non-actors in the film at least suspect. Well, the camera is kind of superfluous in all this, and it watches everything that’s happening from a slight distance as a silent observer.
