Batman Forever (1995)

English Joel Schumacher excelled in the more costume-focused, circus-like Batman films, where the priority was to make the story as bizarre as possible. He successfully transferred this to the screen. Bizarre costume madness, where everyone is grotesque. Burton is also a visual madman, but he too understood that Batman should be done darker. Val Kilmer is not superb, nor is it a miracle. The film as a whole is.

We Were Awesome (2013)

English A film that literally tries to impose nostalgia on you. Unfortunately, it doesn't succeed, and you yourself must have enough imagination for nostalgia to strike you. You don't feel close to the characters, and you won't even find your way to them. Calling the film a comedy or even just a drama with comedic elements is a bit presumptuous.

Narrow Escape (1994)

English "Hei tai yang 731 si wang lie che" is a decline in quality, although it has not been particularly high so far. This film pretends to be something it is not. It presents itself as an epic masterpiece, but it lacks originality, interesting character psychology, and ultimately, even the required gore, which, if present, is just a repetition of scenes from previous films, including new ones. If you have become fond of the heroes from previous films, you might still give it a try, but in this case, there can hardly be any talk of heroes.

Futurama: Bender's Big Score (2007) (video compilation)

English This is called proper time play. Matt Groening and the whole crew around "Futurama" have made the first feature film, which has everything a story with Fry and others should have. It's not explosively funny, but as a parody of sci-fi, it works perfectly. I had a great time, maybe even more after watching it for the second time.

Click (2006)

English Well. It's a bit crazy, the ending is poorly executed and clichéd, but I still like how Adam Sandler conveys various moral values in his own style. This guy just clicks with me and probably nothing he films can change my opinion. "Click" has a lot of weak spots, but there are still moments where I laughed.

Batman Returns (1992)

English Unlike the movie "Batman," this one seems quite scary to me, which is probably due to the character of the Penguin and other twisted inhabitants of the Gotham sewer system. It is more Burtonesque, more eccentric, which is also reflected in the interesting portrayal of Catwoman. I still enjoy this and although Michael Keaton is a very peculiar Batman, I still love him.

Blood Ties (2013)

English A little too stretched out criminal drama, where it's not so much about the crime as it is about the relationships between the characters. Clive Owen has taken the bad boy path and he's doing well, I adore Marion Cotillard, but even she can't save it. Mila Kunis is just here for the looks. For such a running time, this is a bit unbearable, but at least the ending manages to intrigue the viewer a little.

The Exit Room (2013)

English This is a very cruel movie, but it does not present anything that couldn't actually happen somewhere in our world. This is the reality of war, but also of human madness and the desire for violence, which contrasts with the desire to live and love. It's not a brilliant film, but the intense emotions are captured well here. I think that was the main intention.

Writers' Block (2013)

English I really didn't like this. The premise is not bad, but I don't like the execution or the final punchline, which is kind of expected. I am familiar with writer's block, but I don't have enough of it to write something similar. It's a shame that there is absolutely no humor here, the best part is the sequence when the environment keeps changing, that's a bit clever.

S Is for Bird (2012)

English A little simpler film, maybe a bit boring at first glance, but it still entertained me because the characters were well-drawn and acted here. It's not a great art, but it's a good example of how short films simply make sense when there's a good idea and something to tell.
